Airport Overcharges

Try not to pay Airport overcharges, typically they require a premium for the service of picking up your car right after your flight, and dropping it off right before your trip. Sometimes paying for the service can be worth, but sometimes it’s not. Various times the car rental agencies found inside the city offer lower rates so consider your choices, and decide if its worth it for you to get to the town first and then rent.

Rental Car Insurance

Car rentals offer protection, during the booking process or when you arrive at the office to pick up your car. When you are in your Country, and if you have your own auto insurance policy, it may cover collision damage and even personal liability for a rental car. It’s worth making a call to your insurance provider to check what is included.
Additionally, some travel credit cards give secondary CDW that will help after your primary insurance.

Carry the Card that offers you Travel perks

Credit cards with primary rental insurance, like Chase Sapphire Reserve which is a favorite travel credit card for many reasons, including the primary rental insurance. Barclays World Elite, and Platinum Card from American Express, also are good travel cards.

Choose only One Driver

Some Rental Cars Companies charged additional fees if you want to add a second driver. If it’s not a long distance, you may want to designate one driver preferably than pay for the extra person.
